Mark 13:6-8

⁶ Many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he,’^[a] and they will mislead many. ⁷ When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come.^{[b] 8} For nation will rise up in arms^[c] against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines.^[d] These are but the beginning of birth pains.
